Am I the only one who feels they are just avoiding the inevitable and not wanting to want? I'm not even sure I could say what I feel when a dude is noticed could be anxiety or habituated/conditioned. I don't want to be gay and that's of my own volition but don't have a choice if the opposite sex is off limits to me. I don't want to ever try it. I would rather be dead but people just say we are wrong for thinking that way and we need help. But why... A person not wanting to go through life in a way that is not desired should not be shunned.

@L2015 are you a member of this group? Where in my post am I talking about gay people in general. People with this condition are shunned because they think we are in denial and speaking up about it makes us look bad against the gay community because they will never understand the difference. But yes, in general an outsider won't understand what it's like to say something like rather be dead than gay and not think you're "homophobic" but instead have compassion to understand that there's other things going on.

@jdd also, what's the point of telling someone to seek help if the outcome that is desired is not currently possible? Because the kind of help that would be suggested is also not desired. There's also really nothing wrong with a person not personally desiring to be xyz orientation. But thinking that way is also what gets people shunned by the gay politics world.

@jdd No, I'm not a member of this group. I apologize if my question was insensitive.
